Light gauge slitting line for thin coil sheet metal slitting professionally developed by JINYE continuously decoil and slit thin metal coil into several to dozens of narrow baby strips and then rewind narrow strips up onto recoil mandrel under stable coiling tension, we make high speed high precision light gauge slittig lines.

 

 

Slitting line speed 120m/min, 150m/min, 180m/min, 200m/min, 240m/min in automatic full slitting speed, high precision slitting and recoiling are guaranteed by high precision machine making and slitting tools +/-0.05mm to +/-0.15mm slit width tolerance.

Slit camber ≦0.5mm/m for strip of wider than 300mm, ≦1.0mm/m for strip of <300mm.

Slit burrs ≦0.05mm, Recoil staggering ≦±0.5mm, Recoil turriform ≦±2.0mm.

The metal coil material can be Steel coils (hot rolled Cold Rolled steel, Galvanized steel, PPGI steel, stainless steel coil, high carbon steel coil, silicon steel coil, etc), non-ferrous metal coils (aluminum coil, copper coil).

High speed requires short down time to change coil and tools, effective mechanism is arranged to finish the time of loading, threading and unloading within 10 minutes.

The Slitting lines for light gauge mainly include uncoiler, disc slitter, plate type tensioner, recoiler, as well as pinch feeder, side guide, scrap winder, loop, coil cars, etc. The working principle of the slitting line: coil car load a metal coil onto uncoiler, coil head opener takes coil head out and sends to pinch rolls, passive uncoiling with coil head pinch feeding & leveling towards slitter after cutting off irregular coil head, after slitting rewind the two edge scraps and looping some strips in pit, rewind the strips neatly on recoiler with tension, finally unload the slit coils from recoiler.

DC or AC drives are available, easy operation and maintenance.

Safety circuits like overload protection, short circuit protection, emergency stop in electric automation system.

PLC programming monitor and display critical parameters with automatic interlink and fault alarms motor drive worm gear and rod to lift upper slitter arbor, replace various spacers to slit different thickness widths strips.

The automatic synchronization between uncoiling pinch feeding, slitting and recoiling ensure steel strip not extend in elongation, the slitter slitting in free relaxation without any deviation. The recoiling tension is balanced, stable and adjustable. The length fixing function slows the slitting line automatically to zero speed and then cut slit strips to set length or cut off tails.
